The purchase of any tours offered by QWT, LLC, constitutes a contractual agreement between you and QWT, LLC, and represents your acceptance of QWT, LLC terms and conditions set out herein. All guests younger than 21 years of age must be accompanied by parents or other adults. Please make sure you have read carefully these terms & conditions prior to your booking.

Travel Documents

Visas to the Republic of Georgia are not required for US citizens. However, a valid passport with at least six months validity is required. The US citizens can find latest information regarding travel to the Republic of Georgia on the State Departments’ web site at ……. 

We advise the citizens of other countries to contact their local equivalent in their jurisdiction for the latest advice on conditions and general information concerning the Republic of Georgia. Non-US citizens are responsible for obtaining all necessary documents for entry (if required).

It is the trip participant’s responsibility to obtain a valid passport and to pay for all visas and entry documents, for meeting all health and other requirements and for any documents required by laws, regulations, orders and/or requirements of the countries he/she will visit. 

QWT is not liable for damages or losses that may result from travel to any particular destination. 

It is your responsibility, as QWT tour participant, to ensure that you have all relevant travel and health documents before departure for the country you are visiting, which shall include, but is not limited to, any vaccinations that may be required, ID’s and passport. QWT shall not be liable for any expense incurred resulting from your missing, incomplete or incorrect documentation or any non-compliance with requirements.

Language: The official language of Georgia is Georgian. It belongs to the South Caucasian or Kartvelian Languages that also include Svan and Megrelian Languages spoken in Northwest of Georgia. Except this 3 languages some dialects are also used on the territory of the country. 
Georgian Alphabet used today is called Mkhedruli and it has 33 letters in use, with 28 consonants and 5 vowels.  The alphabet does not have a special form for the capital letters and the letters of Mkhedruli correspond to the sounds of the Georgian language (each sound has its written form). 
Religion: Most of the population of Georgia, about 83.9% practices Orthodox Christianity, which was adopted as the state religion in the 4th century. The percentage of other religion representatives is as follows: Moslims – 9.9%; Armenian Christians – 3.9%; Russian Orthodox – 2%; Roman Catholics – 0.8%, as well as a small Jewish communities and Protestant minorities.

Tour Pricing

Prices are per person based on double occupancy. We will try to accommodate particular requests, but cannot guarantee them. Single room supplement will be available at an extra cost. Tour prices can change at any time, however, your tour price will be locked once your deposit is paid. No refund will be issued if a guest fails to participate in any part(s) of the scheduled itinerary.

Booking

In order to make a booking, a deposit of 50% is required. The remaining balance of 50% is due 21 days prior to the starting date of the tour, for which you will receive from us in due time an on-line payment form. For bookings made within 21 days prior to the starting date of the tour the full amount of 100% is required. After confirmation from our side the deposit is non-refundable as well as the balance paid within 21 days or the full amount paid within 21 days prior to the starting date. 

The 8 day cultural wine tour will take place with a minimum of 10 persons. You will be notified at least six (6) weeks prior to the starting date of the tour. In case of cancellation of the tour, you will be fully refunded, i.e. 50% paid as a deposit. 

Your booking is confirmed once we receive the deposit and signed booking form. The amount of the deposit is 30% of the total tour cost per person. Final payment is due 60 days before the first day of the tour. All payments are made in US dollars.

Cancellation Policy

Your deposit can be refunded 30 days prior the first day of the tour. Final payment within 30 days prior to starting date of the tour, as well, as the deposit is non-refundable. In an unlikely event QWT, LLC cancels the tour, its only obligation to the participants is to refund all monies collected from the guest for the specific tour.

Health & Dietary Restrictions

QWT, LLC cannot guarantee but will put its best effort to address any allergy, dietary needs, or restrictions. It is necessary that you let us know about your medical or physical restrictions 60 days prior to the trip. Please note that we have no liability to you if such requirements are not met. We certainly regret if we are unable to fulfill a particular request. 

Travel Insurance, Cancellation Insurance and Medical Insurance are all strongly recommended and QWT will not absorb any costs and does not accept responsibility if guests come on tour without these recommended insurances. Medical issues, storage or purchase of medicines and any related medical costs are the responsibility of the client, not of QWT, Ltd, Co. We recommend the insurance will cover, amongst other things, the cost of cancellation by you, personal losses, all medical costs and the costs of assistance including return to the country of your origin in the event of an accident or illness. 

QWT reserves the right to refuse to take participants who have not provided all relevant details of any medical condition, disability, or other factors which affect your ability to fully participate in the tour at the time of booking or as soon as any such condition etc. develops, if later. Bookings are accepted on the understanding that participants are aware of possible risk inherent in travel and that they undertake the tours or walks featured in our tour description, on that basis. It should also be noted that as you travel outside of US, UK and the EU, the general levels of comfort and services are lower than would be found in the US, UK and the EU. It is essential that you understand the nature of the trips we offer and that you are able to participate in all the activities included in your chosen itinerary. 

Note: We regret that this itinerary cannot accommodate wheelchairs or motorized scooters. Likewise, we are sorry that we are unable to provide individual assistance to guests with walking disabilities or other personal needs. The responsibility of the tour director/guide who accompanies you cannot be relayed upon to provide individual assistance to any guests that require it. Guests requiring such individualized assistance must be accompanied by a person who can provide such an assistance.

Guest Conduct

When you book a tour with QWT, Ltd. Co., you accept responsibility for the proper conduct of your party. QWT, Ltd. Co. reserves the right in its reasonable discretion to terminate the tour of any member of your party whose conduct is disruptive or detrimental to the enjoyment of other guests, or whose conduct may affect the tour in any other negative way. In that situation, QWT, Ltd. Co. shall have no further responsibility or liability to you.

Liability Disclaimer

QWT, Ltd. Co. does not own or operate vehicles, accommodations and services connected to the trip, therefore, the participant agrees that QWT, Ltd. Co. and/or its’ representatives shall not be liable for any direct or indirect, punitive, incidental or consequential damage, accident, loss (including personal injury, death and property loss) or expense occasioned by any act or omission of any supplier providing services. 

QWT, Ltd. Co. is not liable for bodily injury or property damage as a result of (but not limited to): physical exertion for which a guest is not prepared; forces of nature; travel by plane, train, auto, boat, bicycle, horseback, foot, or other form of active travel; consumption of alcoholic beverages; civil unrest; terrorism; etc. QWT, Ltd. Co. reserves the right to make route and hotel modifications as necessary to improve the quality of a trip or to accommodate the comfort and well-being of guests. QWT, Ltd. Co. and its representatives accept no responsibility for any damage due to change in schedules or services, or any other cause beyond their control. QWT, Ltd. Co. reserves right to cancel or change itineraries. 

Your driver will be waiting for you at the airport or your confirmed pick up point at the confirmed arrival time that you provide. Rest assured we will pick you up regardless when you arrive. However, the tour cannot be delayed because of your late arrival. You will be able to join the tour at its’ scheduled location and time. If extra transport hours or additional transfer services (beyond the confirmed itinerary) are incurred during the tour due to the guests’ request, they will be billed directly. NOTE- you can protect yourself against any eventuality by purchasing full insurance.

Photography

The guest of the trip permits QWT, LLC to take photographs, videos, testimonials of participants for its own commercial use without compensation to participants.

Included in the Tour

English speaking guide, accommodations in hotels based on double occupancy, all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) for 6 days and breakfast for 7 days, all winery visits and wine tastings, one bottle of wine for two guest per dinner, ground transportation from/to airport to hotel and tour destinations, all fees or tickets for cultural events or historical and cultural site visits.

Not Included in the Tour

Air or land transportation to the destination, gratuity for drivers, travel insurance, any personal expenses, meals or drinks not included in the tour, telephone calls, room service, any other costs not specified in the finalized Tour itinerary or elsewhere in writing.
